Re: Reproducable crash on biome change: IndexOutOfRangeExcep

Oh, does this mean all development/bug fixing is ceased until the Linux/Mac versions are fully operational?

Too bad, as that may take a while.... I guess I have to give up on this then. :-(

Re: Coal & Panda combo seems bugged?

Haha! As always it's the humans messing up.... :-D Regarding the crashes (that still persist in the current beta), I actually figured it would be 'just' an index calculation problem. Reus.View.SurfacePatchTriangulator.AddTriangle(Vector3 a, Vector3 b, Vector3 c) Apparently a, b or c is out of bounds...

Re: Reproducable crash on biome change: IndexOutOfRangeExcep

Exactly the same issue unfortunately. Only difference is that the error log now appears on screen before crashing into Windows. Loading my saved game (see first post) into the debugger should make it clear which index is out of range. In addition: this version does not show a mouse cursor when start...

Re: Coal & Panda combo seems bugged?

Yes, I understand that (and that completely makes sense), but I actually meant the other way around: both the Project and the Coal benefit from the Awe, but the Panda doesn't. In other words: the Panda 'sees' the negative Awe from the Coal, while the Project doesn't take it into account. The same go...

Thanks for forwarding Touriste!

By the way, the issue is not restricted to the Forest Giant; I have the same crash with the other 3.

Re: Border growth: the real story (part 1)

Very useful topic! What I missed however, is that there seems to be a minimum prosperity requirement as well. Maybe this was added in later patches of the game? While the border expansion definitely is a function of time and both same terrain type and certain resources at the border can speed up exp...

Coal & Panda combo seems bugged?

I am not sure if this has been introduced by nerfing Coal last summer, but I thought the Sunflower/Panda/Coal combo could still be useful, so I gave it a shot. It turns out however that the Awe produced by the Sunflower can only be used by the Panda OR the Coal. This means the Coal uses the Awe and ...

Re: 119th crash: System.IndexOutOfRangeException

Additional info: I forgot to mention that I bought the game on Steam 1 month ago and I use Windows Vista 32-bit, fully updated. I play in 1920x1080 resolution and the crash happens in both FullScreen and Windowed mode (which is to be expected with an IndexOutOfRange exception). I also believe this ...
