Expansion to Ocean Resources

It's always bugged me, when Reus first came out, that the only ocean resources you could create were animals.

Minerals I could see someone having a hard time with. With the technology of humans in Reus, I don't see them doing deep sea mining.

But plans were something I had trouble understanding. The oceans are rich in plant life and much of it has been made use of by humans for thousands of years. Even if you just fudged it with sponges and corals (which are actually animals.) Just having fish to put in the oceans always seemed very limiting to me.

Hey Feneris,

I see your point. Thanks for making it. Our vision of the ocean has often contained the Great Barrier Reef. I agree that more variation in the ocean would be fun to add, but unfortunately time was limited. We couldn't add plants to the ocean without destroying the balance and reducing the amount of animal life in the ocean. We thought it was better to just add the plants visually to the fish homes, and to keep the ocean lively this way.
