Re: [OFFICIAL] Linux & Mac topic
I love you guys for working on a Linux or Mac port! This is beyond awesomeness!
I got a Ubuntu 13.04 running with a dual-boot and would be awesome to try it out in Ubuntu. I could be a tester if you guys need more people. I would really like to push this game even further!
Brought the game and it is fantastic! Love the it!

Re: [OFFICIAL] Linux & Mac topic
I have two Linux computers I could test on. While I've only been using Linux in a desktop style for the past month or two, I've been using it to run servers for the past 10 years.
Main one is:
CPU: sandy bridge core i7 2600k
GFX: nvidia gtx 580 with proprietery drivers
Ram: 8GB
HDD: 2.128TB combined(5 drives.), ~ 500-600GB left.
Sound: soundblaster x-fi soundcard.
OS: gentoo 64bit with the 3.8.13 kernel.
Desktop environment: Mate
Laptop:
CPU: sandy bridge core i3 2310m
Gfx: integrated Intel hd3000(may or maynot be below minimum spec for the game.).
Ram: 8GB
HDD: 128GB SSD.
Sound: integrated Intel codec.
OS: Gentoo 64bit with the 3.8.13 kernel too.
Desktop environment: Gnome 2.

Re: [OFFICIAL] Linux & Mac topic
Mac user here who is fairly technically adept. Currently playing Reus on a Boot Camp partition, and I'd be happy to test out a Mac version a try when it's ready.
I could potentially wrangle my two brothers into it as well as we play a lot of games together, and they also use Macs.

I am a bit late to the party on this one (Hi It's Liam from http://www.gamingonlinux.com) what is the current status of this? Still going on? Would love to get the word out for you guys once the Linux version is unleashed!
Re: [OFFICIAL] Linux & Mac topic
I can test for: Ubuntu, Mint, Fedora, Debian.
Test can be with the open source drivers and with the proprietary ones (amd only as I do not own nvidea)
Intel graphics can also be tested with open source drivers.

I would also be happy to test the new MonoGame port on both Mac and Windows. As a software developer, I already have an eye for misbehaving features.
I have several machines and laptops to help test performance including a 2.93GHz dual-core late-2008 Macbook Pro and 5 other machines of various hardware configurations.

I'd like some info on this too, thanks Liam. It's been a while since the last update, can we get another one?liamdawe wrote:I am a bit late to the party on this one (Hi It's Liam from http://www.gamingonlinux.com) what is the current status of this?
