Hey Yav,

Thanks for the detailed report! We've had other reports about this achievement in the last few days, so I'll check it out as soon as I can and get back to you :)

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Re: Extreme sound glitching

Hey Alastor,

I'm sorry, we're not really sure what could be causing that :( If any other people run into this issue, please let us know: hopefully we can find out a common cause here.

Re: Extreme sound glitching

Hey Alastor,

Hm, odd. Could you maybe try running the game in administrator mode? We can't guarantee complete save game compatibility between the XNA and FNA version of the game, but a new game should work. Let me know! :)

Re: Extreme sound glitching

Hey there Alastor, Sorry for not responding earlier, must have missed this post! There is something you can try. I'm assuming here that you bought the game on Steam. The main branch of the game uses XNA, which is stable, but old and discontinued by Microsoft. We have a test version on the fna-versio...

Re: Game Lag and Crash

Hey Boz, Sorry that you're running into this! This might be a problem with the XNA version of the game. While XNA is stable, it's old and discontinued by Microsoft. We have a test version on the fna-version branch, which is built using FNA, the open-source XNA replacement. It's actively supported, b...

Re: Crash/Freeze on encounter loading screen (Linux)

Hey Flabbergasted, Sorry for the late reply! Encounter crashes _usually_ mean that the game has run out of (video or system) memory. Could you send me the abbeycore.txt log file from after a crash? Should be located in the game's installation folder. Either here on at support@abbeygames.com is fine :)

Re: How can I check on patches?

Hey Aymo,

There are no general patches available for the game: patching is always done through the storefront where you bought it, which might be Steam, GOG, or Humble. So it depends on where your spouse bought it! :)

Re: Several bugs in Emperor's challenge

The counter is definitely buggy. I'm not exactly sure where the problem is located exactly. We have definitely also had reports from people's challenges not registering (and thus them having to do more than 25 challenges). Some people have suggested that it might have to do with skipping the win ani...
