Re: Hardcore challenges and challenge ideas
As a roguelike fan, I love challenge modes and challenges (I'm looking at you DoomRL) *The villages are permanently at war! Finish an era with four villages standing! (not possible currently) Its possible. If you have a whole lot of dangerous animals in the gaps between your villages, when an army ...

Re: My suggestions and annoyances ;)
@Caiobrz I always prefer having math details about games as it allows me to make more informed decisions and play to a higher level. Without additional information, you can't really make informed decisions. The real challenge of designing a UI is to provide as much critical information as possible w...

Re: My suggestions and annoyances ;)
Also, my opinion on a better antagonist stays: as soon as you know the best predator/danger combinations, greed is not even a problem anymore. Build animal+danger, pump resources, get project done, remove danger. Greed, what greed? =p Also, to be a fast-click game, it needs to have the math, so I t...

Re: Question for DEVS: Speed or Leisure?
I like the game as it is, but I think it needs another axis of antagonism besides greed. Like the greed axis make then want to go after the other villages, and the awe axis make then go after the giants. Do you mean that greedy villages attack other villages and villages lacking awe will attack the...

Re: My suggestions and annoyances ;)
@Caiobrz You are welcome to play leisurely and relaxed but the developers put in a 2h time limit for a reason, they wanted us to try to accomplish as much as we possibly can in that 2h time limit. Ramping up the difficulty for everyone else because when you leisurely play it isn't challenging enough...

Re: My suggestions and annoyances ;)
1. Tweak giant leveling to make it faster to achieve high-level skills, not 2 hours T_T 2. More punishment/rewards towards the humans (skills) other than muck-ball and earthquake (thunderstorms, meteorshower, vulcano, aurora, ...) 3. Better antagonist force. Greed is not enough once you get how to ...

Re: Is Reus worth it?
Okay, piracy is a thorny issue.... I wouldn't go so hard on him.... I don't necessarily agree with video game piracy, but it shouldn't be thought of as traditional theft, which is what the MIAA, RIAA and others would like you to think. When you have a digital product you have an "infinite" supply o...

Rolling back to DirectX 10 might not be a bad idea just to make sure that it isn't a DirectX problem.Humpers96 wrote:Instead of DirectX 11 or alongside it?Touriste wrote:Try to reinstall the game ! We never know.
And install directX10, I think there is a different version of it, directX11 does not have it.

Try uninstalling your video drivers and reinstalling them. I didn't think it was the XNA Framework, but way more likely that your video drivers are unable to accomodate for a HiDef game built in XNA 4.0Humpers96 wrote:Installed the XNA 4.0 Framework and I'm still getting the same error message.
