Reminds me of a prototype I made, back when Reus was still very much focused on simulation. simulation.png Simulated are rainfall, cloud generation, river flow and factors like temperature, moisture and fertility are displayed at the top. Sort of like a side-scrolling simearth/simlife? Interesting.

Thank you very much for figuring this out! It looks like I /was/ actually on the right track in asserting that growth was independent of prosperity. Finally finished the 120 minute game I've been working on for half a week.
Just over 5000 prosperity.

I did get all but one of the Achieves, though, so not a total loss - and I came up with a Plan for my next game.

I think the underlying problem is my biggest design challenge yet: Wanting all unlocks, but not feeling like a timed challenge. Especially since I agree that most early games look a lot like eachother, there is a big hurdle to jump with the 120 min challenges to try to get another achievement. Reus...

Im pretty sure i know the best strategy for 120min. 2. 35 iron, 35 coal. First: Why Desert Iron instead of Mountain Copper? Because one zinc mine potentially boosts 10 iron mines for about 25% each (actually 50%, but only boosts tech) better to boost 35 mines +10/+10 and all the project simultaneously.
