Other reasons for getting gredy or angry are (likely more or less):

failing to finish an upgrade.
Being a bigger city than a nearby city.
touching borders with nearby city.
getting the city damaged.

6-7 villages on a planet early can booost early ambassador times. 7 villages mean that you only have 2 small ocean and a lot of desert. then you just crush/drown the 2 cities that would develope the least with your ambassadors, or let the other 2 cities do the dirty work.

Coanda, insects are like all animals primarily a food source and not primarily a source for wealth or tech. But the advanced tea only gets its bonus once (it's bugged) and although next patch fixes that, I believe.... it will also change coal. Earthquaking the whole city for this is a worse idea because it slow...

theres a gamemode votable on that allows a freeplay mode to unlock things within the game only for this one planet while you keep playing. yes locked content is generally bad. but even with everything locked the game is complex enough to learn and see a lot of things in 30 minute games. if everythin...

Seeing the geniius chemist going well with coal or uranium keeps this flexible up to a certain point. both paths are great if you see an observatory early enough.
