Re: Bug report

Another one - Count Dracul has a debuff " Flattering Inspiration <Missing Tooltip> Effects: -20 Speech Defense" Not sure what caused that, the current status is Dracul Friendly, me Aggressive, with a party of Jan-Piet, Maria, and Yvonne. I haven't attacked the count yet though, just clearing away mi...

Re: Challenge #33: Don't Go Too Far!

with a little bit of trinket-swapping Thanks. Could you elaborate on the trinket-swapping? Kcyw mentioned it in last week's challenge as well. What I think the term should mean isn't permitted by the game, though, so I guess you guys mean something else. I think of "trinket-swapping" as having one ...

Re: Challenge #33: Don't Go Too Far!

Any advice on strategies that can score well without needing endless restarts to set up? This challenge looks to me like it requires perk-stacking to score since we can't pile up tokens on Lost Island (well, technically we could, but a 1-2-2-2-5 path has problems too...). I'm trying a serious versio...

Re: Anyone gotten past Shangri-La?

Thanks! Sounds like the key difference between my visits there was Charles and his AOEs more than stats, then. With a corollary of "don't go to Shangri-la if you don't have AOEs or stuns". Staying out of range of four green demons just isn't possible unless the tactical map is generated *very* favor...

Re: Anyone gotten past Shangri-La?

I'm looking for Shangri-la advice as well now. What defense levels are good benchmarks to aim for? I thought my current team was doing pretty well: Kwame(C), Jan-Piet, and Maria, with defenses (S/A) of 35/45, 64/51, and 35/60 respectively (Adventure Armor, Adventure Memento, Legendary Armor respecti...

Re: Challenge #32: Laying Low

Nice one. But actually Timbuktu after getting the new treasure at Andean Adventure giving +1 Discovery leads to something similar. I didn't get Psychology at all because some of those papers don't really contribute to tokens. You could have had 2 Discovery tokens in Beijing. Andean feels like a mus...

Re: Challenge #32: Laying Low

Wow, that was intense. But going all-in on insight worked very well: challenge32.png for a total of 9926 and my first Gold! :-D Highlights/commentary: Pedrinho is very nice, once I looked up how to actually use Party Time. His campfire story helped buff Agatha's insight spending too. And now I have ...

Re: Bug report

Found another one - in the Highlands "Misty Plateau" encounter, the text after climbing up says "Pedrinho pulls herself up and sees..." Pretty sure Pedrinho is male. :-)

Re: Challenge #32: Laying Low

A German board game challenge, very interesting! :-) That's actually how I thought this game worked when I first started playing, before learning that renown is best gained by stacking instead. But this challenge is Resourceful Explorers instead of Renowned Explorers! It would be interesting to see ...

Re: Challenge #31: Fight for Victor

Yay, my first gold! Thanks in part to PlutoniumRooster, as I heeded his advice, destroyed the crystal and punched Roche silly, also unlocking his anchor treasure :) I found Harry and Dolores worked particularly well together, enhancing the collect tokens to ridiculous levels. Nice run, congrats! Bu...
