I hate EA, Orgin and Online DRM, I'm waiting for a crack and going to try it out, If it isn't total shit i might buy sim city, But until then they are out of luck.

I'm not as harsh with EA as Qustinnus is but I have a similar stance on this whole topic that surrounds the latest Sim City.
While I think that it looks like an amazing game and I really like this city simulation theme (I own Sim City 4 Deluxe edition for several years now) but I'm against DRM which is why I'm not considering to buy it or pirate it because I don't want to spread news about the game at all. But I also don't want to own it because especially EA put a lot of microtransaction into their games and I just don't understand it when the base game alone costs 50€+.
If you look at the whole Modding community that found out that there will be an ingame-shop (microtransactions), that maps can technically get bigger (the size was often critized by many people because they felt it was too small) and that it can easily be played offline. Before this went viral both Maxis and EA always said that it is impossible to play the game offline because they let everything go through a server and stuff.

If they don't stop this nonsense, I'll not buy it.
