Crash During Tutorial WHen Creating Ocean

Post by jazzberry76 » Sun Jan 19, 2014 11:58 pm

My game launches fine, and I enter the tutorial. Everything plays fine until I have to make the Ocean Giant create an ocean. It lifts its arms, but before they hit the ground, the game freezes and then crashes. Every time. Below are the three errors I am receiving.

I have installed the proper XNA and patched to the latest version.

Hello,
If you have the Steam version, try right clicking on the game, go to Beta and joined the "beta - Protected Beta" branch of the game.
It might not work though

I did actually try that already, but it didn't make a difference. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I can't seem to find this error anywhere else.

Is there any errorReport in your Reus folder ?
(program files/Steam/steamapps/common/Reus/)

Unfortunately, there is not. Is there another place it could have gone? The only error messages I was able to find were the three that I posted.
Also, thank you for helping me with this, I appreciate it.

You can still search in My Documents>Reus for errorReport
Also, try to uninstall older version of XNA if you have any, and make sure to be on an administrator session :)
