As a roguelike fan, I love challenge modes and challenges (I'm looking at you DoomRL)
The pitiful 6500 prosperity achievement was child's play.
CHALLENGE IDEAS:
*5000 prosperity without using the Forest/Water/Muck/Rock giant
*7000(?) prosperity with every square filled with ocean/mountain/desert/forest/swamp '
*The villages are permanently at war! Finish an era with four villages standing! (not possible currently)
A challenge such as "you can only place mountains (no oceans)k" sounds interesting, but I have a feeling it'd make gameplay really boring, as only one or so giant would have upgraded resource types.

Its possible. If you have a whole lot of dangerous animals in the gaps between your villages, when an army is sent from one village to go to war with another the dangerous animals will pick them off and whittle their numbers down, making it possible for permanent war to not result in 'last man standing' scenarios.EatingBurger wrote:As a roguelike fan, I love challenge modes and challenges (I'm looking at you DoomRL)

I meant that there was no real way to ensure that villages were permanently at war with one another. I mean, yeah, you could try microing greed, but I doubt it would be consistent enough.Rhadamant wrote:Its possible. I only have two achievements left, man. After that? Nothing. If the horse finally gets to the carrot, think of how sad it would be once it realizes there is no longer a carrot to get. The sole purpose of the metaphorical horse's existence has been completed. It might as well commit analogical suicide at that point!
